The World According to TwitterReleased in September, David Pogue’s The World According to Twitter ($12.95 retail, under $10 on Amazon) collects some of the best one liners from Twitter users around the world. While we’ve heard many stories of people using Twitter to write a book, Pogue actually did it, paying his contributors with a signed copy of the physical paperback.

In this interview, he gives the lowdown on what Twitter is and what it isn’t, some of the funniest lines from the book, and how Twitter isn’t the end of civilization. It’s cropped short, but you get a good idea of the book and where the author’s coming from.

By the way, you can follow David on Twitter, @pogue. And we’re @techshelf.
